Training and Development

At Northwestern Mutual's Cedar Rapids office, we offer a comprehensive training and development curriculum for your personal and professional growth. As a new Financial Representative, you will be provided with:

  • Sales training that will build a solid foundation in Northwestern Mutual's sales process and product knowledge.
  • Ongoing development for your educational and personal growth that includes coaching, study groups and peer groups.
  • Continued advancement of your education through professional studies such as the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification.

    Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® (with flame logo), which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements.
